We stayed in one of the lakefront premium pull through sites with water and electric. The site was very large and level. We had our own balcony and a path to the lake. The park is located close to the town of Hartwell where there are grocery stores and a Wal Mart.
Would we stay here again? YES, we are already planning another trip.

Fancy Gap KOA, Fancy Gap, VA Site 43 6/26/08
The Fancy Gap KOA was formarly called the Fox Trail Campground. It became a KOA in 2007. The campground is located near mile marker 200 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The campsites are all unique. Some have a balcony area, some have steps up to a private patio area. Ours was a back in with steps up to the patio area with fire pit. The site was fairly level and wide enough for slides. The campground host escorted us to the site and helped us get backed in. There is a nice laundry, game room, and a pool. We had WiFi at the site.
Would we stay here again? YES

Walnut Hills Campground, Staunton, VA Site 67 6/23/08
We loved this campground! The full hook up pull through sites are located on top of a hill overlooking a pond. We had the front part of a tandem pull through. The sites are level, gravel and wide enough for slide outs. We had a nice breeze the whole time. The management was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice laundry within walking distance of our campsite. The bathrooms were very clean. We had a strong WiFi signal at our site. The campground is located about a 20 minute drive from the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway. It is close to Staunton where there is a Wal Mart, grocery store and other shopping. On the way to the Blue Ridge Parkway are other stores and restaurants.
Would we stay here again? DEFINITELY!
